We are looking for an outstanding Sales Executive whose professional success comes from their people skills, as well as their strategic, consultative and creative approaches to client relationship management.

The Role:

  • You will work with the Sales Director to execute and implement new business campaigns in line with the sales strategy.
  • You will develop strategies to identify new business and client opportunities through lead generation, cold calling and direct outreach
  • Deliver sales growth in line with business expectations and targets set
  • Devise and implement strategies to benefit both Media Zoo and our clients.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with potential and existing clients to develop long lasting relationships as a trusted advisor across your key accounts
  • Oversee customer account management for your territory including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximise profit
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. pipeline, quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Prepare reports on Sales status
  • Enhance the portfolio of customers

Entry requirements

  • 5 GCSEs grade A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English and Maths).
  • Degree educated ideal, but not mandatory for the right fit and desire to grow

A Sales Executive is a sales person working in either the Business to Business or Business to Consumer markets with the responsibility to sell a specific product line or service. They plan their sales activities, lead the end-to-end sales interaction with the customer and manage their sales internally within their organisation. They will be responsible for retaining and growing a number of existing customer accounts, and generating new business by contacting prospective customers, qualifying opportunities and bringing the sales process to a mutually acceptable close.

A Sales Executive will develop customer relationships by establishing rapport and building trust and confidence in their own and their organisation’s capabilities through demonstration of detailed product knowledge, competitor knowledge and an understanding of the market in which they operate, and by ensuring a positive customer experience.
