Development Coach

Summary

The role of the Development Coach is to coach, guide and mentor apprentices enrolled onto one of our programmes to ensure their timely progress towards End Point Assessment. Working in partnership with the apprentice’s line manager, you are responsible for planning activities and providing coaching to ensure the development of skills and knowledge relevant to their apprenticeship courses’ standard. Your overall responsibility is to guide apprentices in your caseload to becoming industry leading experts through imparting your expert knowledge and experience upon apprentices at the beginning of their career.

We are located in Alderely Edge, Cheshire, the role will be office and home based we are flexible on locations across the north west.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mentor apprentices in line with apprenticeship programme standards and offer support and guidance from the start of the programme to finish, along with professional skills required for the workplace.

• Actively support apprentices remotely and in the workplace ensuring apprentices follow the agreed programme and schedule.

• To ensure your own skill sets are kept up to date and relevant, attending training courses to further your personal development and knowledge, completing a minimum of 30 hours CPD per annum.

• To create an engaging and productive learning environment for all apprentices

• To focus on how delivering an excellent apprenticeship experience for apprentices and their employers, monitoring progress at the academy and in the workplace.

• Manage the apprentice journey, dealing with any disciplinary and classroom management issues, taking registers and reporting absence.

• Maintain appropriate tracking systems and procedures relating to quality, compliance, management and assessment

• To be committed to Health & Safety awareness inclusive of Safeguarding and Prevent

• Understand and follow all relevant Apprentify Policies and Processes.


 

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Previous training or coaching experience

• A recognised Assessor OR Teaching qualification (e.g. TAQA, PTLLS/DTLLS/QTLLS, PGCE, IQA)

Trainee Development Coach (Sales Apprenticeships)

We're looking for an ambitious individual with experience coaching in an outbound sales environment and with good knowledge of IT.

The role of the Trainee Development Coach is to coach, guide and mentor apprentices enrolled onto the IT Technical Salesperson programme and to ensure their timely progress towards End Point Assessment.

Working in partnership with the apprentice’s line manager, you are responsible for planning activities and providing coaching to ensure the development of skills and knowledge relevant to the IT Technical Salesperson apprenticeship standard. Your overall responsibility is to guide apprentices in your caseload to becoming industry leading salespeople.

Your responsibilities:

  • Mentor apprentices in line with the IT Technical Salesperson programme standards, supporting them remotely and in the workplace

Job Purpose

The requirement for this position is to support the ongoing improvement and continuous development of existing apprenticeship standards, adult education budget (AEB) and commercial training programmes.
 

Main duties and responsibilities
· Building e-learning resources on Articulate Rise across several apprenticeship programmes

· Creating video/audio/image assets for e-learning/virtual classrooms

· Conducting training needs analyses with external and internal stakeholders to design training courses

· Updating e-learning resources as part of annual curriculum cycle (or as required)

· Building classroom resources for virtual classroom delivery – PowerPoint slides, lesson plans, quizzes, activities, media assets (e.g. custom images, videos, audio)

· Updating and maintaining classroom resources to suit industry specialisms

· Researching industry developments and updating resources as required

· Maintaining and managing e-learning courses on VLE/LMS

· Working with apprenticeship employers to identify development needs in industry

· Interpreting apprenticeship standards/assessment plans to build apprenticeship programmes

· Developing activities on apprenticeship e-portfolio system to ensure learners are building occupational knowledge and skills

· Act as subject matter expert for virtual classroom delivery using Zoom/Adobe Connect

· Continuous improvement of all aspects of classroom delivery

· Developing/managing production of wider apprentice or employer resources as required (e.g. programme handbooks, EPA Explainer videos)

· Building onboarding materials for new programmes

· Identifying network of guest speakers or subject matter experts to deliver apprenticeship masterclass sessions

· Monitoring curriculum performance using quantitative and qualitative feedback

· Supporting Development Coaches in interpreting curriculum intent/implementation

· Developing resources to ensure the curriculum meets Ofsted requirements

· Supporting with development of Curriculum Self-Assessment Report

Key outcomes to be measured (KPI's)
· End Point Assessment completion rate

· Learner feedback via quantitative and qualitative feedback (End of Lesson, LMS reviews etc.)

Essentials

Data Analyst Apprentice

Job description

You will be working for an industry leading training provider born out of the desire to improve the new age of digital apprenticeships. The successful candidate will complete the Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship and learn amongst leading industry professionals.

With assistance from experienced developers, relevant stakeholders and colleagues, the Data Analyst role will:

  • Support the team on day-to-day tasks and reporting
  • Collect, analyse, and document business functionality and data requirements
  • Collaborate with end users and project team members on required development and design

Training to be provided

You will undertake the ground breaking Apprentify Data Analyst Level 4 apprenticeship.

We have designed our programme to offer you a distinct route into your career path and specialise in areas such as Data Architecture, collecting and cleansing data, produce performance dashboards and reports .

During the 15 months of training, you will learn cutting edge theory and industry practice across 11 carefully structured Modules covering the duties that are required as a Data Analyst:

  • Identify data sources to meet the organisation's requirement, using evidence-based decision making to establish a rationale for inclusion and exclusion of various data sets and models
  • Liaise with the client and/or colleagues from other areas of the organisation to establish reporting needs and deliver accurate information
  • Collect, compile and, if needed, cleanse data, such as sales figures, Digital Twins etc. solving any problems that arise, to/from a range of internal and external systems.
  • Produce performance dashboards and reports in the Visualisation and Model Building Phase
  • Support the business by maintaining and developing reports for analysis to aid with decisions, and adhering to organisational policy/legislation
  • Produce a range of standard and nonstandard statistical and data analysis reports in the Model Building phase
  • Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in data sets
  • Draw conclusions/Recommend appropriate response/Offer Guidance/Interpretation
  • Summarise and present the results of data analysis to a range of stakeholders, making recommendations
  • Provide regular reports & analysis to different management/leadership teams, ensuring data is used and represented ethically in line with relevant legislation (e.g. GDPR, which incorporates Privacy by Design).
  • Ensure data is appropriately stored and archived, in line with relevant legislation e.g. GDPR

The Role

You will be responsible for the complete 360 recruitment cycle from job description to completion. You will develop and manage client relationships through the recruiting process. This process includes talent acquisition and process management and client relationship development. The role includes:

  • Sourcing candidates including market mapping
  • Networking and using various databases as well as social media
  • Selecting and screening candidates and drawing up shortlists of candidates for employers to review.
  • Running candidate assessment and selection sessions
  • Organising interviews and helping candidates prepare for interviews.
  • Feedback management and support with IAG
  • Successful placement administration.
