SmartResponse Media is a full-service direct response television (DRTV) agency, delivering end-to-end solutions including TV advert creative production, media planning and buying for both shortform and longform airtime, and advanced campaign analysis for a diverse range of clients.

Founded in 2015, we are an independent company working with a mix of well-known household brands as well as ambitious start-ups.

Role Overview:

The role primarily involves supporting the Account Management/Media department at SmartResponse by managing campaign administration, tracking and reporting, ensuring all campaigns run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys coordinating multiple projects at once to support the internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage media bookings and maintain clear, consistent communication with stations.
  • Issue copy instructions and coordinate creative delivery to relevant networks.
  • Maintain campaign schedules for all clients, monitor airtime delivery, and follow up on outstanding airtime.
  • Prepare TV channel indexing reports for media planning.
  • Compile client competitor reports to support campaign analysis and market awareness.
  • Produce and distribute monthly audience rating reports to inform media planning activity.
  • Support the media planning process with scheduling, reporting and administrative tasks.
  • Prepare inbound and outbound media invoice summaries and assist with financial campaign tracking.
  • Maintain the DRTV Monthly Investment Tracker to assist senior management with forecasting.
  • Manage all client creative copy swaps and related administrative requirements.
  • Oversee all longform administration, including sending copy instructions and checking schedules.
  • Produce monthly SmartView pricing sheets.
  • Prepare monthly clock and phone number matrices for clients.
  • Attend Client production shoots as needed, providing hands-on support to the creative team.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as and when required by the business.

Entry requirements

A minimum of Grade 4/C or above in both Maths and English at GCSE level.

Capacity to commute around London and the surrounding areas (Client meetings/shoots etc.)

This apprenticeship enables organisations to improve data quality, strengthen governance, and drive better decision-making through structured analysis and clear communication of insights.
