Overview

urfuture is the UK’s first Job App designed for Gen Z — a fast, fair, and human way to connect young people with real jobs, real employers, and real opportunities.

 

We are a social first business and careers content doesn’t need to be boring, it needs to be bold. That’s why we’re launching URSQUAD: a new creator-led content team making careers entertaining, relatable, and worth watching.

Inspired by creators like Beta Squad, Niko Omilana, and MrBeast, URSQUAD will bring challenge-based, socially driven video content to life, from street interviews and undercover job trials to full-blown campaigns and monthly missions to get someone hired.

URSQUAD will live on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, with one mission: to change how young people see the world of work.

Role Summary:

As the videographer and editor, you’ll be embedded in the core URSQUAD team — capturing everything from chaotic challenge days and street interviews to documentary-style moments and cinematic intros. You'll shape the visual identity of the brand, own the edit across long-form and short-form, and play a critical role in bringing the energy, humour, and humanity of URSQUAD to life across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.

Key Responsibilities:

• Film high-quality video content in a range of environments — from studios to streets, job sites to events. • Edit full episodes (10–30 mins) and short-form cutdowns (15–60 secs) for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram.

• Create engaging thumbnails that maximise CTR and reflect creator personality.

• Manage gear, lighting, sound, and shoot logistics for each series or campaign.

• Collaborate with creators and the Head of Social to define the look, feel, and pacing of URSQUAD content.

• Be proactive in capturing behind-the-scenes and bonus content to feed the wider social ecosystem.


Entry requirements

What We're Looking For:

• Passion for both shooting and editing creator-led content (nice is you have a portfolio). • Any experience in any of Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop/Canva, Capcut

• Skilled at editing for YouTube and short-form platforms, with an understanding of pacing, retention, and story arcs. • Obsessive attention to detail, quality, and consistency.

• Flexible, fast-moving, and excited to build a content brand from the ground up. • Comfortable filming in dynamic, high-pressure, and unscripted settings. Bonus if you also:

• Are tuned in to creator culture and know what makes content click.

• Can contribute to content ideation, scripting, or shot planning.

Training to be provided

The Juice Academy is a digital marketing Academy based in Castlefield, Manchester. They train up to 80 apprentices a year, whilst the apprentices work with businesses around the North West (and sometimes further afield!). The training is delivered by industry professionals from their sister company, Tangerine Communications. The Juice Academy training sessions are a hybrid of face-to-face learning within the academy in Castlefield, and online delivery via Zoom. Apprentices will also receive the on the job training in the workplace. The final three months of the course will be the ‘assessment period’ during which apprentices are expected to produce a portfolio of work and complete a series of assessments. Full digital marketing training to be provided on-the-job and off-the-job. The Juice Academy partner with Apprentify, who support apprentices in the workplace through development coaching.
