What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Content Creator Apprentice, you’ll play a hands-on role in shaping how we tell stories across platforms. Your key responsibilities will include:

✍️ Writing & Storytelling: Craft articles, interviews, and profiles for The Good Journal, neighbourhood guides, and our “Good People” series—bringing local voices and places to life.

Entry requirements

Required: 

• Minimum of grade 4/C or above in Level 2/GCSE English and Maths.

Desired: 

• No prior professional content-creator experience required; strong portfolio of passion or personal work is a plus.
• Comfortable with hands-on work (shoots, interviews, editing) and learning new tools.

You will be enrolled onto the groundbreaking Content Creator Level 3 Apprenticeship, tutored by industry experts at Apprentify.

Developed for those looking at joining the marketing industry through Content Creation, it teaches individuals to promote, sell and market their products and services. That's why we've crafted our Level 3 Content Creator apprenticeship course, equal to an A-Level qualification, to help tomorrow's talent kick start their career.

Our Content Creator apprenticeship is designed to develop multimedia content from written, audio, and visual to everything in between. We allow talent to produce content that spreads across multiple platforms and media. In addition, our programme shows apprentices how to develop messaging to maximise audience engagement for brands. 

The primary duties we cover on our Content Creator apprenticeship are:

Plan and develop creative content aligned with the brief and budget/costs.

Interpret the strategy and objectives of the brand and align these to the content.

Research, prepare and develop the media messaging to maximise audience engagement.

Develop and create written content for various media.

Create visual and audio content for multiple media.

Store content securely and methodically to enable efficient access and retrieval.

Collaborate with colleagues and clients to plan and align content delivery with business objectives.

Manage content online using appropriate tools and techniques.

Evaluate the effectiveness of the content produced against the original plan and recommend improvements.

Duration: 12 months plus End Point Assessment

Things to consider

Salary: 22-25k, depending on experience. Please note this role is hybrid and you will be working on the road alongside our founder, Vim.
