Overview

urfuture is the UK’s first Job App designed for Gen Z — a fast, fair, and human way to connect young people with real jobs, real employers, and real opportunities.

We are a social first business and careers content doesn’t need to be boring, it needs to be bold. That’s why we’re launching URSQUAD: a new creator-led content team making careers entertaining, relatable, and worth watching.

Inspired by creators like Beta Squad, Niko Omilana, and MrBeast, URSQUAD will bring challenge-based, socially driven video content to life, from street interviews and undercover job trials to full-blown campaigns and monthly missions to get someone hired.

URSQUAD will live on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, with one mission: to change how young people see the world of work.

Role Summary:

We’re looking for an energetic, camera-confident content creator to become one of two onscreen faces of URSQUAD shaping the voice, energy, and format of a creator group built from the ground up. You'll lead challenge-based content, take on bold missions, trial real jobs, and inspire Gen Z with humour, honesty, and hustle.

This is a rare opportunity to join something from the start, to co-create the format, shape the content, and grow with the brand as URSQUAD becomes the UK’s most talked-about careers content channel.

 

Mission: Create content that drives brand growth and partnerships. Be the face of urfuture and lead on paid/influencer content.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Be front-facing in content (street interviews, employer shoots, etc.).
  • Plan and film content aligned with the monthly strategy.
  • Lead on influencer outreach and partnership content opportunities.
  • Manage paid social content creation (ads, sponsored videos, UGC).
  • Edit all employer content.
  • Work with us to prepare shot lists + storyboards.
  • Contribute creative ideas to brand campaigns.
  • Report weekly on influencer/paid growth results.

Entry requirements

What We're Looking For:

• A bold, funny, and confident personality with strong on-camera presence.

• Comfortable improvising and carrying narrative in real-time across varied environments.

• Deep understanding of creator culture, especially YouTube, TikTok, and IG Reels.

• Passionate about changing the narrative around careers and doing it creative

• Collaborative mindset and willingness to grow something new from scratch.

Bonus if you also:

• Have experience hosting or creating digital/social content.

• Are confident pitching or shaping content ideas from trends or culture.

• Bring a unique background or voice that reflects the Gen Z audience we're here for


Skills requirements


Training to be provided

The Juice Academy is a digital marketing Academy based in Castlefield, Manchester. They train up to 80 apprentices a year, whilst the apprentices work with businesses around the North West (and sometimes further afield!). The training is delivered by industry professionals from their sister company, Tangerine Communications. The Juice Academy training sessions are a hybrid of face-to-face learning within the academy in Castlefield, and online delivery via Zoom. Apprentices will also receive the on the job training in the workplace. The final three months of the course will be the ‘assessment period’ during which apprentices are expected to produce a portfolio of work and complete a series of assessments. Full digital marketing training to be provided on-the-job and off-the-job. The Juice Academy partner with Apprentify, who support apprentices in the workplace through development coaching.

The qualification will include:
•    Level 3 Content Creator


Things to consider

You must also be able to travel across the country for client shoots. Please note that train travel to shoots is funded by us, but travel into the office is not reimbursed.

Future Prospects

The starting salary is £18k per annum, rising to up to £20k upon successful completion of the six-month probation period. A further increase will be applied upon successful completion of the apprenticeship. Bonus Scheme: The team has a shared sign-ups target each month. If their actions as a team constitute to exceeding this target by 120% or more, the £500 bonus pot is unlocked. The pot will then be split evenly between the three team members (£166.66 each). Performance will be reviewed monthly, based on verified sign-up data. If it falls below the 120% threshold, no bonus will be issued that month. Hybrid - 3 days in our Manchester office.
