Nimble Squirrel is a specialist marketing agency supporting B2B technology clients with strategic planning, content creation, social media management, campaign delivery, events, and communication. We’re looking for a creative, motivated Content Creator Apprentice to join our small but ambitious team.

In this role, you’ll help bring client brands to life through engaging content, compelling copy, and eye‑catching visuals. You’ll work across multiple clients and channels, gaining hands‑on experience in the full marketing mix while being supported by a marketing professional with 15 years’ industry experience.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is proactive, curious, and eager to build a career in digital marketing. For the right candidate, this role has the potential to grow into a full‑time, permanent position within the business.

Entry requirements

Skills & Experience We’re Looking For

• Strong proficiency in Canva (or similar graphic design tools), with an eye for clean, engaging visual content
• Familiarity with HubSpot — full training can be provided
• Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style
• Confident copywriting across digital platforms
• Hands‑on experience using LinkedIn, Facebook, and X for content creation and engagement
• Ability to create and edit audio and video content, bringing ideas to life through multimedia

Qualifications

• Five GCSEs at grades A–C / 9–4 (or equivalent), including English and Maths.

Personal Qualities

• A high level of professionalism, with the ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working independently, taking ownership of tasks and outcomes
• A strong listener who can absorb information quickly and apply feedback effectively
• Trustworthy, reliable, and loyal, with a commitment to representing the business positively

Skills requirements

Training to be provided

The Juice Academy is a digital marketing Academy based in Castlefield, Manchester. They train up to 80 apprentices a year, whilst the apprentices work with businesses around the North West (and sometimes further afield!). The training is delivered by industry professionals from their sister company, Tangerine Communications. The Juice Academy training sessions are a hybrid of face-to-face learning within the academy in Castlefield, and online delivery via Zoom. Apprentices will also receive the on the job training in the workplace. The final three months of the course will be the ‘assessment period’ during which apprentices are expected to produce a portfolio of work and complete a series of assessments. Full digital marketing training to be provided on-the-job and off-the-job. The Juice Academy partner with Apprentify, who support apprentices in the workplace through development coaching.

The qualification will include:
•    Level 3 Content Creator

Things to consider

This is a hybrid role: you’ll work from home four days per week, with one day required for in‑person meetings in or around the High Peak area of Derbyshire.
