Overview

We are looking looking for a creative and ambitious Multi-Channel Marketer Apprentice to join our clients dynamic marketing team. This remote role is perfect for someone with a passion for storytelling, content creation, and digital marketing.

 

Reporting to the Group Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll gain hands-on experience
working across multiple digital channels, helping us engage our audience and grow our online presence.

The Building Engineering Services Association (BESA) is the UK’s leading trade body for building engineering services contractors. Our mission is to drive excellence, safety, and sustainability within the sector by supporting members with industry-leading guidance, training, and advocacy. As part of our marketing team, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping how we communicate with our members and the wider industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation of engaging social media content (images, videos, and copy) to promote BESA’s initiatives, campaigns, and events. 
  • Support the development of blog posts, articles, and website content to enhance industry engagement.
  • Work with the marketing team to produce email campaigns and newsletters that inform and engage our audience.
  • Help manage and update BESA’s website with fresh, relevant content.
  • Contribute to the production of video content and podcasts, including filming, editing, and publishing.
  • Monitor and report on social media performance using analytics tools to measure engagement and growth.
  • Assist in the creation of digital advertising campaigns to promote key events and initiatives.
  • Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends and suggest new ideas for improving BESA’s content strategy.
  • Support with general marketing administration tasks, ensuring smooth campaign execution.

Entry requirements

A minimum of Grade 4/C or above in Maths and English at GCSE level.

What We’re Looking For:

We don’t expect you to have years of experience – this is an apprenticeship role, and we’ll provide full training and support!

However, you should have:

  • A passion for digital marketing and content creation.
  • Strong writing skills with a creative approach to storytelling.
  • An interest in social media platforms (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar) – desirable but not essential.
  • Some experience or interest in video editing and production (e.g., using Premiere Pro, or similar tools).
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • A willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Training to be provided

This programme provides a comprehensive foundation in modern marketing. Learners will develop a deep understanding of marketing fundamentals, from strategy development and market research to customer journey mapping and brand building. They’ll learn to create effective marketing campaigns across various channels, measuring and optimising performance through data-driven insights as well as hands-on experience in content creation, design, and campaign management.

Key learning outcomes:
• Understand the key elements of effective marketing campaigns.
• Align marketing objectives with overall business strategies and stakeholder management.
• Master quantitative and qualitative research techniques.
• Conduct in-depth competitor analysis to inform marketing strategies.
• Identify and target specific customer segments for maximum impact.
• Develop effective copywriting and creative content.
• Learn the customer journey and deliver exceptional CX across channels.
• Build a strong brand identity.
• Measure and optimise marketing performance.

On successful completion of the programme, learners will be awarded a Level 3 Institute for Apprenticeships Multi Channel Marketer apprenticeship certificate.

12 Month Practical and 20 Week End Point Assessment.


Things to consider

£20,000-£25,000 salary. Remote position with a monthly team day in either Penrith or London office. Full training through Apprentify’s Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer programme. Lot's of opportunity to learn and develop. Flexible and Friendly Team.

Future Prospects

Upon completion the Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketing qualification will be awarded.
