At Apprentify, we believe that creating a safe and supportive environment for our apprentices is crucial for their personal and professional development. That's why we have a dedicated Safeguarding Team led by Scott Austin and Lauren Beavis.

We understand that mental health is a crucial aspect of overall wellbeing, and we're committed to supporting our apprentices in this area. With Mental Health Awareness Week coming up, we want to take this opportunity to remind our apprentices and team members that mental health is just as important as physical health.

Let's get to know our safeguarding team a bit better!

Meet Scott Austin

Scott Austin, Head of Talent, joined our Safeguarding Team with a passion for helping and supporting those in need. His primary responsibilities include providing a safe environment for our apprentices to work and study, listening to their concerns and guiding them towards the support they need. His favourite thing about working with the Safeguarding Team is making a difference and supporting those in need.

When he's not at work, you can find Scott on a football pitch or a golf course. If not, outdoors you may find him watching his favourite movie Hacksaw Ridge.

Meet Lauren Beavis

Lauren Beavis, Talent Acquisition Executive, is also a member of our Safeguarding Team. Her primary responsibilities include ensuring that everyone feels safe and cared for, actioning, raising, and referring cases when required. Her favourite thing about working with the Safeguarding Team is being able to support people and make a difference to our apprentices.

Outside of work, Lauren loves socialising and exploring new places to go for a walk with her big dog Millie and son Harry. On a weekend, Lauren enjoys tucking into her favourite book and movie Harry Potter.

As a Safeguarding Team, we recognise that mental health challenges can be overwhelming, and we're here to offer support and guidance to our apprentices who may be struggling. Don't hesitate to reach out to us if you need help or know someone who does. Together, we can work towards creating a safe, supportive, and healthy environment for everyone.

At Apprentify, we take the welfare of our apprentices seriously, and our Safeguarding Team is always here to help and support them. Scott and Lauren's passion for helping those in need and creating a safe and caring environment for our apprentices make them an essential part of our team.
