About the Role:

Dewynters are seeking a Data Analyst Apprentice to join their Insights team. You will report to a Business Intelligence Manager and work across the agency and within the Insights department to support the delivery of all business intelligence tools and sales data input. Your role will involve elements of report and dashboard development, including report building and testing, to continually improve their dashboard reporting framework and ensure effective business partnering.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Business Intelligence Process:

  • Assist in the rollout of dashboards across Dewynter's roster of clients and the creation of internal dashboards.
  • Support the maintenance of business intelligence applications, such as dashboards.

Technical Support and Issue Resolution:

  • Help resolve technical issues and track them by liaising with relevant parties, including developers, insights managers, the digital media team, and ticketing systems.
  • Problem-solve tracking issues across multiple data flows, including sales, campaign metrics, CRM metrics, audience research, Google Analytics, and budgets.

Data Collection and Management:

  • Gather and organise data from various sources, including internal databases, third-party platforms, and client-provided datasets.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data validation and cleaning tasks.

Reporting and Visualisation:

  • Assist in creating visually appealing and informative reports and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Collaborate with Insights Managers and other key stakeholders to ensure data visualisations meet reporting needs.

Process Improvement:

  • Contribute to the evaluation and improvement of data collection and analysis processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for process enhancements.

Client Support:

  • Work closely with client teams to understand their data needs and provide support in data collection and analysis.
  • Assist in preparing data-driven insights and recommendations for client meetings and presentations.

 

Skills:

  • Data-driven mindset and a keen interest in using data to inform business decisions.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
  • Curious and enthusiastic about the arts and advertising industry.
  • Basic understanding of data analysis
  • Basic understanding of data validation principles
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel/ Power BI
