What is TechSkills Gold?

TechSkills Gold, also known as Tech Industry Gold, is the only employer-led accreditation for tech and digital education and training in the UK. It is managed by TechSkills, an independent, not-for-profit body and the skills arm of TechUK, which is recognised by the government as a Professional, Statutory and Regulatory Body (PSRB) for the accreditation of degrees and training programmes.

Unlike other quality marks, TechSkills Gold is shaped directly by the employers who will hire the people trained on accredited programmes. Employers sit on accreditation panels, define learning outcomes, deliver insight talks to learners and contribute real-world challenges for learners to solve. It is accreditation with a direct line to industry.
