Overview

Whether you're a large business or an SME, enhance your leadership skills with our fully funded virtual short course in Leadership Tools for the Digital Age. Our short course is delivered by UK Skills and provides the leadership tools needed to manage in the new virtual style of working and the support needed to boost your employees’ existing knowledge and expertise in using digital tools.

Because the Digital Careers Upskill programme is financed by the European Social Fund (ESF) via the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), we can support your workforce at no extra cost to your business.

  • Focus on how to analyse your business model using digital tools to capture and review requirements.  
  • Using MS teams/Planner remotely, how to motivate and inspire using digital tools, different types of teams and leadership styles and how these can be utilised digitally.   
  • Skills need in the digital age.   Analysing the current skill set and what is required using Training needs analysis and how to use online Forms to capture the information you need as well as how to identify key training that will benefit the workforce including using Microsoft Learn and Oracle University free courses.   
  • Using tools such as PowerBI to effectively analyse data and trends covering performance in relation to both staff and the business and the current digital tools that business are using. 

On average, these courses cost £199 per day. However, with a recent scheme, we are able to offer these courses to anyone in the Greater Manchester area for absolutely free!

 

Will need to have internet access and a PC or laptop and the ability to install free software if required.
