We are looking for an individual who is driven to help others, supporting the trust in providing the greatest quality support to it's students. Purpose of the post:

  • To support the Chief Executive and other members of the executive team in the planning, development, and delivering of engaging internal and external communications through a range of media, organising events, and support the trust and schools' marketing strategies.

Description of duties and responsibilities:

  • To support the development and delivery of clear and effective internal communications within the trust.
  • To create and deliver engaging content for external audiences, including social media posts, leaflets, reports and newsletters.
  • To ensure that the trust’s website is maintained and kept up to date, accurate and accessible, and liaising with colleagues to ensure that it complies with statutory requirements.
  • To support the executive team in responding to any media requests, drafting press releases/statements when required.
  • To provide logistical and event planning support for trust events – e.g. pupil conferences, celebration events etc.
  • To plan and deliver social media and marketing campaigns to promote trust events and activities to internal and external audiences.
  • To work with individual/groups of schools to support their marketing needs, raising the profile of the school(s) through different channels.
  • To carry out general administrative and support/research tasks when required to by the CEO and/or members of the executive team.
  • To use appropriate systems to log content outputs and results, including metrics such as coverage, reach and event attendance, and to produce summative reports for trust leaders and directors as required.
  • To keep up-to-date with emerging trends in PR, communications and marketing to further improve trust strategy and engagement.

 


Entry requirements

Grade 4/C or above in both Maths and English at GCSE level - Evidence will be required.

Full and clean drivers license.

Availability to start on the highlighted 'Possible Start Date'.

Things to consider

A driver is needed for this position - Evidencable. You will be based at the Runcorn HQ, with occasional travel to sites within the Trust. (Mileage expenses will be reimbursed in line with trust policy) You will be joining a small marketing team, and be given opportunities to lead on various projects during the apprenticeship.
